What is covered in the plan?
The plan covers the following routine dental work:
- Dental check ups
- Visits to our dental hygienist
- Diagnostic x rays
It also insures you for what we call in the trade, “external dental injury”. More on insurance below!
How much does the plan cost?
Prices for membership start from as little as £15.95 per month and the minimum time you can sign up for is a year. We have a four tier system which gives you cover whether you need anything from our most straight forward treatments, to regular treatments for serious gum disease. After an initial assessment we will be able to advise you which of our plans best suits your needs.
What else do I get by being a member?
We want our members to get the very best value from our services and to reward you for coming back to us for all your routine treatments, we’ll also give you all the benefits listed below:
Up to 15 per cent off on all our other treatments
Being a member of our scheme is a bit like having a club card – but the rewards are much bigger! It qualifies you for up to 15 per cent off on all our other treatments – including cosmetic procedures (like teeth straightening or veneers).
So for example, if you wanted invisible braces (normally around £1750), you could save yourself upwards of £175!
£150 off a teeth whitening session
We’re also running a special offer for all our scheme members: a saving of £150 on a Hartley Dental teeth whitening session. Call us now to book a session and claim your £150 discount.
What isn’t covered by the Care Plan?
You will still need to pay for additional treatments such as having a filling or a teeth-whitening session. But the good news is: because you are a member of our scheme, you can get a discount on all these treatments of up to 15 per cent.

What am I covered for?
Your insurance covers you for what is known as “external dental injury” which means that something outside you caused the accident – you may have fallen off your bike, for example, or been hit in the face by a cricket bat.
You are also covered for:
- treatments required to give you emergency pain relief
- treatments that you need after having had an accident,
- emergency call outs over evenings and weekends
- emergency treatments carried out by any dentist when you are away from home
