Botox Plymouth

Are you worried about those crows feet around your eyes, worry lines or the wrinkles caused by all the smiling and yawning we do?

We think that Botox® is one really effective way of offering an on-going solution to these wrinkly issues! It’s not only the rich and famous who can get this treatment – with a safe, ethical and effective approach Hartley Dental can help you achieve a more smooth, pleasant and often youthful look with Botox® injections.

So what is Botox®?

Botulinum Toxin, which has long been used as an effective treatment for lines and wrinkles on people’s faces. By injecting this into muscles in the face, it relaxes them helping offer that less weathered look. Botox injections generally last for 4-9 months and are not a permanent solution. Periodic re-treatments are required to maintain the effects of Botox®.

How is Botox® Treatment Administered?

A micro needle is used to inject small amounts of Botulinum Toxin into specific facial muscles, which relaxes those muscles, helping reduce the formation of those pesky lines and wrinkles. We often find that this helps increase people’s self esteem and happiness around their own smile – which perfectly fits with our core mission of helping people achieve a great smile from a great Oral Health routine! What a great combination!

Is Botox® Treatment Safe?

No clinical or medical procedure is without risks – we would be lying if we said it wasn’t! However, at Hartley we complete a full allergy and medical assessment as part of the communication process before any treatment is carried out, making sure we give you the best outcome possible from your treatment – an ethical & responsible approach approach is key for us. Due to this, we not complete Botox® treatment people under the age of 18, pregnant or breast feeding ladies are also excluded due to the effects of Botox® on these people being unknown.

Also it should be remembered that only Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists or Nurse Practitioners can prescribe Botox treatments. Dr. Charlie Fox (GDC Number = 65235) will prescribe the treatment, which will be carried out by Hannah Mason-Mellish (GDC Number = 156563), who is fully trained and competent in the administration of Botox® treatments.

Although we do our best to ensure that Botox treatment works well for you, there is no cast iron guarantee that the treatment will give you the desired effect and the ageing process will continue elsewhere, even after Botox treatment has taken place.
