Hartley Dental & Well Connected – A Charitable Endeavor!
It’s that time of year again – the time when the Hartley Dental team look to support our chosen Charity, Well Connected.We are fully aware that we have a definite responsibility to reach out to into the communities of Plymouth, in order to help make a positive difference to people who live in those communities’ lives. However, we have a small team – it is difficult for us to set aside time to get out and about, to deliver brushing clubs in Schools, for example.So how have we solved this problem?We support the team at Well Connected in their fabulous work!This charity is based in and work in Plymouth and the surrounding communities, engaging with community groups, dental students, other charities and the people of Plymouth, to try and help them make positive health-based choices – particularly with regards Dental Health, but…They need funds to deliver that fantastic work!So how do we help with that?Sponsored bike riding that’s how! On Friday, 13th of September 2019, Edd & Charlie have organised a group of 10 or so people, who will cycle from Okehampton to Plymouth, a cycle of over 35 miles – WOW! They will cross Dartmoor via the Granite Way, hop over Brent Tor, whizz through Tavistock and finish in Royal William Yard, Plymouth – phew!The whole team would really love it, if you could dig deep and sponsor them for any amount you can afford – every penny really does make the most amazing difference to Well Connected and allows them to continue their great work in our communities!How do you donate?Just click on their names below, and it will take you straight to the donation page!Edd.Charlie.There is also a sponsorship form in the Practice waiting room if you are more comfortable sponsoring them in the good old-fashioned way!Thank you for your support & please feel free to join us all for a drink in Royal William Yard to celebrate, from 16:00 on 13th September!
